I recently saw Terence Conran's exhibition at the Design Museum and would strongly advise going if you're anything like me and have a serious Conran crush. Highlights included the archive of Habitat catalogues and bags with fantastic graphics and illustrations, they gave a real insight into how Habitat must have shaken things up on the High Street at the time of its opening. It's hard to imagine life without the most basic of products it brought to the UK (such as the humble garlic press)! I also really liked the section on Conran's restaurants which displayed the crockery, glassware and ashtrays of each venue, demonstrating how much attention to detail there is in everything the man does. Finally, a fascinating touch was the installation of a replica of Conran's study at home, all that it was missing was the legend himself.
